Unboxing and design

The Corsair ML PRO RGB come in a cardboard box with the brand's corporate colors, in it it shows us a full-color image of the fans, as well as their characteristics in perfect Spanish.

Corsair ML PRO RGB is the brand new generation of fans, these are units that include the latest technological advances to offer the highest level of performance and with great customization via Corsair Ink software. These fans include a magnetic levitation bearing system that achieves ultra-low friction while they are running, this prevents wear and tear as well as reducing vibrations and thus the noise generated.

This allows to offer a large air flow and high static pressure without noise being annoying, therefore they are the perfect fans for users who want quiet operation without sacrificing maximum performance.

Aesthetics also matter, that's why the Corsair ML PRO RGB are based on a revolutionary design that includes RGB LED diodes inside the blades themselves, this makes the Lighting Node PRO lighting very intense and generates a spectacular effect while they are rotating at full speed to keep our hardware fresh.

They also include the Zero RPM mode, this is nothing more than keeping the fans off in idle situations and under low system load, in these cases little heat is generated so it is not necessary for the fans to rotate, thus allowing greater silence in our team.

Corsair ML PRO RGB are offered in 120 mm and 140 mm versions to adapt to the needs of all users, both have replaceable corners and available in various colors so that we can change the aesthetic, adapt it as much as possible to our tastes and our team.

The 120mm Corsair ML PRO RGB has dimensions of 120mm x 120mm x 25mm and the ability to rotate at a speed between 400 RPM and 1600 RPM, thereby generating a maximum airflow of 47.3 CFM, a static pressure of 1.78 mm-H2O and a noise of only 25 dBa.

As for the 140 mm model, it has dimensions of 140 mm x 140 mm x 25 mm with a speed from 400 RPM and which goes up to 1200 RPM with a maximum air flow of 55.4 CFM. It also has a static pressure of 1.27 mm-H2O and a loudness is considerably lower at 20.4 dBa than that of the 120 mm models.

For the tests we will use the native controller of the Z370 chipset on a high-performance board: Asus Maximus X APEX. In our tests they will be carried out with the renewed cooler: Corsair H100i V2. The results have been very good, not excellent, but considering their lighting characteristics they perform very well:

All control is done from your Corsair Link V4 application. As standard, it already detects the fans and allows us to change the LED effect in various profiles: Wave, rainbow, Static, temperatures, canopies and much more . Undoubtedly, a great job by the Corsair team.

Final words and conclusion about Corsair ML PRO RGB

Corsair ML PRO RGB fans rank among the best options on the market today. Ideal both for use with your heatsink / liquid cooler or in your case to increase airflow.

We really liked that it incorporates motors with magnetic levitation, this allows the motor to make no noise and rotate much slower with a lower voltage. It is identical to the Corsair ML PRO that we analyzed a few months ago, but with the wide variety of effects and color palette from its Corsair Link application.

You also have to keep in mind that if you have a Corsair Crystal box, you will have to change the controllers for the one that comes in the pack, since otherwise you will not be able to get the most out of the lighting.

Its big downside is the high price, but if we want the best of the best (performance + customization) we have to pay. Just over a week ago, the pack of three fans was on Amazon for about 110 euros. It is your turn to assess, if you prefer the normal option or this new improved lighting.
