Corsair Neutron XT

Corsair gives us a gala presentation with a black box with a very compact size. On its cover we find an image of the SSD, the name, specific capacity and all the most relevant characteristics of the disc. While on the back we have all the conditions and we can see the serial number that will help us activate the warranty. The bundle consists of the Corsair Neutron XT 240GB Disc, small warranty booklet and an adapter with 3M adhesive.

Its design stands out for the combination of black color and red frame. Its dimensions are normal for a 2.5-inch disk with 7 mm thickness, SATA III connectivity and a weight of 55 grams.

Final words and conclusion

Although the competition in the SSD sector is tough, Corsair has done a great job and offers a disk specially designed for professional users and high level players. As it stands out for a new quad-core controller, Toshiba 19nm memory and excellent read and write rates for the SATA III connection.

Regarding performance, we can confirm that the transfer rates obtained are extremely high, which is ideal for capturing uncompressed FullHD and professional 4K video in real time, so Neutron XT is the ideal extension for your professional video device that records directly to SSD drives.
