Corsair presents us its SSD in a small box. The colors of the Neutron Red / Black series predominate throughout the box.

On the back we have the instructions for the disc. In addition we see the serial and model number from a small "window".

The bundle includes:

• Corsair Neutron 120GB SSD. Screws. 2.5 to 3.5 ″ bay adapter.

The 2.5 to 3.5 Adapter has the manufacturer's blank logo printed on it.

The disc has a silver metallic body and its label has red / black colors. We see ideal for motherboards with aggressive colors. On it we see the 120GB label…. already wanting to try it.

The back we found nothing special. Except the 4 screws for installation in the adapter.

Finally, we see that you need SATA power and SATA data transfer.

Corsair Neutron 120GB is a solid state drive designed for high-end users and notebook computers. Among its features it stands out for the integration of the advanced Link_A_Media controller, SATA 6.0 data connection, very careful design and excellent read / write rates: 555/330 MB / s.

In our test bench it has given the size as we expected, although we have seen a somewhat low reading in the Crystal Disk Mark benchmark in the sequential reading. The rest of the tests have given the size and when playing we have seen a small gain of 2 FPS.

The price of the unit ranges from € 130. A fantastic price for one of the best solid state drives on the market.
