Technical characteristics Corsair Saber RGB

Corsair Saber RGB unboxing

The Corsair Saber RGB comes to us in a box in which the colors black and yellow stand out. On the front we see an illustration of the mouse and on the back all its specifications are detailed in perfect Spanish and several additional languages.

The box includes a window so we can see the mouse before buying it and some of its details details.

Once we open the box we find the Corsair Saber RGB mouse itself along with the warranty documentation and a quick start guide.

Corsair Saber RGB features

The Corsair Saber RGB has dimensions of 124 x 38 x 80 mm (Length x Width x Height) and a weight of 100 grams. It is made of aluminum and its Design is ambidextrous to suit both right and left handed users. It is quite large so it is especially suitable for users with fairly large hands.

Once we look at the right side we have a configuration with two buttons and the DPI control (5 modes) just in the upper right corner. For his part, the left side is completely free.

We focus on the top and see the two main buttons with high-quality switches that promise to hold 20 million presses, the scroll wheel with a very nice and precise operation and finally a fairly large button that we can configure with the function we want.

Finally we see the USB connector to connect the mouse to our computer, the cable is meshed in fabric for greater durability and is quite long at 1.8 meters.

The Corsair Saber RGB sports a striking RGB LED lighting system configurable in 16.8 million colors. In total we have three lighting points being these the DPI level indicator, the scroll wheel and the Corsair logo located on the back.

Corsair Utility Engine Software

The Corsair Saber RGB has the Corsair Utility Engine software for its configuration, you can download it from here and its installation is not a mystery. It is a really complex software and Corsair makes a complete user guide available with 147 pages in English (available from the same download link), we are going to show you its options in a very simple and very graphic way. It is really very powerful software and with a little time and learning you can do real wonders with your mouse.

The first section allows us to configure the eight programmable mouse buttons. We can program things as varied as:

  • one button action macros custom DPI settings sniper mode for first person shooter games text for pasting direct hits to programs multimedia controls

The following section allows us to configure the lighting system, we can configure each of the three lighting zones in their tone and light effects. of course we can also turn off the lighting if we wish.

We come to the last section where we can configure the five different DPI profiles of the Corsair Saber RGB.

Experience and final words

The Corsair Saber RGB is an ambidextrous mouse with a total of 8 buttons, an optical sensor, an incredible RGB lighting system and incredibly complex management software with which you can create different profiles and macro functions. In addition, it now has a 10, 000 DPI sensor making it even better than the version that has been commercialized until now.

Its design is very ergonomic and you will find it really comfortable to use, especially if you have large hands although mine are small and I have had no problems using it. In short, if you are looking for a very advanced mouse with unrivaled features, the Corsair Saber RGB is your ideal companion for vice.

The mouse will hit stores for an approximate price of 70 euros, the same as the previous version with a 8, 200 DPI sensor, an excellent decision from Corsair with which we can get an even better product for the same price.
