Unboxing and design

Corsair presents its Value Select DDR3L memories in a cardboard envelope. On the cover we can quickly see what model we have in our hands. It is organized in a kit of two DDR3L SO-DIMM memory modules compatible with notebooks, miniPCs and small format motherboards.

While in the back we see the two modules together with a label with the part number and serial number of the memories.

Corsair Value Select DDR3L It is made up of a total of two DDR3 modules that add up to a total of 16 GB between them.

Each module runs at a maximum frequency of 1600 Mhz and have a CL11 latency (11-11-11-28 ) with a low voltage of 1.35 v. This kit is compatible with Intel XMP Profile .

Normally these SO-DIMM modules do not incorporate heatsinks in their chips. This is because it is always maintained at the base speed set by the manufacturer and because they are quite cool modules.

To test the memories we have used one of the best business laptops that Lenovo has made. Specifically, the Lenovo Thinkpad T440p that allows you to connect up to 32 GB of RAM. The Corsair Value Select SO-DIMM DDR3L kit has been automatically read at 1600 MHz, its latencies at CL1 and a low nominal voltage of 1.35v.

Corsair Value Select DDR3L memories are one of the best options to upgrade your old laptop. Its 1600 MHz frequency, CL11 latency, its low voltage of 1.35 and its great compatibility with the main brands: Lenovo, Asus, MSI and HP are points to keep in mind.

In our tests we have been able to verify that with a Lenovo Thinkpad T440p (Intel Core i5 vPRO plus an SSD) we have significantly improved the high consumption of our Google Chrome or Firefox browser and applications. Of course it is leaving the whole system much more healthy.
