Crucial bx200 announced
Crucial today announced its new Crucial BX200 solid state hard drive (SSD) that arrives offering excellent performance that allows applications and the operating system to be loaded in a few seconds, all at really competitive prices as usual at the brand.
The new Crucial BX200 SSD comes with a Silicon Motion SM2256 controller alongside Micron's 16nm NAND TCL memory technology that enables it to achieve sequential read and write speeds of up to 540 MB / s and 490 MB / s respectively and read rates and 4K random write of 66, 000 IOPS and 78, 000 IOPS.
The crucial BX200 is more than 13 times faster than a conventional HDD while its power consumption is 40 times lower, all an example of the great energy efficiency that SSDs achieve. This translates into less heat generated and a greater autonomy of the laptop battery.
The new Crucial BX200 SSD will arrive in storage capacities of 120, 240 and 480 GB with prices of approximately 95, 165 and 330 euros with a three-year warranty and Acronis True Image HD software that will allow you to move all the data from your HDD upgrade to your new Crucial BX200.
