Surely you have heard of the Gag Law that has been in Spain for a year and a half. This law has caused much controversy due to restrictive regulations, so much so that they could fine you with 600 euros just for liking it on Facebook. It is clear that receiving a fine of 600 euros "for doing nothing" is crazy, but this law says that you cannot share specific videos or "like" what you should not. A good example of this is something that has happened in Galicia and that you should not do if you do not want to be fined 600 euros.

Beware of liking Facebook, you could be fined 600 euros

Specifically, we are talking about a video that has been played 17, 000 times and shared 300 times. In this video, we can see a Police officer chasing a patient (who thought he was a criminal). Apparently it attracts attention, because it sure is funny, but… where is the seriousness of the matter? Tell this Santiago de Compostela Police officer, who denounced Facebook users for viralizing a video in which he was chasing an escaped patient… who was unable to reduce and reach.

This video was shot by a neighbor who was amused and then shared it on Facebook. But the police officer who appears in the video, was the one who decided to denounce the author of the video and the users who clicked "like" and left bad comments, which did not make the author happy.

But the worst of all this is that many users have encountered penalties of 600 euros just for liking it. Although on the other hand, we could say that the agent is "right", since it was protected under article 37.4 of the Law, allowing the author of the video to claim up to 30, 000 euros.

The true reason for the complaint, based on the Gag Law, is that it is prohibited to record a police officer exercising his duties. Now we already know, so it will have to be taken into account before uploading anything to Facebook…?

What do you think about the new? Are you hallucinating in colors or do you see it well?
