Day one is updated with audio notes, dark mode and new interface

The popular Day One digital newspaper application has recently been updated to version 3.0, a round number that, as usual in this type of update, comes packed with new features for both premium users and those who have enough with the free modality.

The third version of the Day One application brings us a completely new editing interface that, according to the developers, has been built from scratch. It is especially notable that the action of editing an entry has been simplified so that now you just have to touch anywhere in the text so that the cursor is there and you can make the desired changes

Touching the “Aa” icon brings up a new Editor menu with options that allow you to customize the format of the entry including Headers, Bold, Italics, Lists, Rule Line, indents, and more. A new menu has been incorporated into the new user interface to add photos (from the library or take photos with the camera), audio and labels, all integrated in a dynamic grid that makes selection easier and faster.

For Premium subscribers, Day One 3 brings a new Dark Mode that can be automatically configured to change according to the local time of sunrise and sunset. Also included is a new audio recording feature that supports transcription using Apple's voice dictation service, allowing users to record up to 30 minutes of audio.
