If you have been waiting for the new Dell XPS 15 with 32 GB of DDR4 memory, it seems that it will finally arrive this year (more was missing), but you have to wait a little longer.

Dell XPS 15 with 32 GB DDR4 arrives this year although there will be no LTE version

From his Twitter account, Frank Azor from Dell says that the 32GB version, despite the long wait, should arrive before the end of the year. The XPS 15 is available right now with 8GB or 16GB DDR4 at a speed of 2400 MHz. These new XPS 15 '2 in 1' also make us the latest with Intel's Kaby Lake-G CPU with built-in Radeon Vega graphics.

The built-in Radeon RX Vega M GPU has its own 4GB HBM2 memory in addition to the 8GB or 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 system memory.

In terms of storage, users can choose between a 128GB SATA SSD for the most basic option. If users prefer a faster PCIe solution, they can also choose between 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities. There are also two Thunderbolt 3 ports available, providing flexible connectivity options. Two additional USB 3.1 Type-C ports are also available for storage, plus a microSD card reader.

Dell's original launch at CES 2018 was supposed to be in April. However, due to issues with the laptop's MagLev keyboard, the company had to delay launch.

What about the LTE version?

According to Azor's tweets, there are no plans for an LTE version at this time.
