According to DigiTimes' report today, ASMedia has already secured orders from AMD for the upcoming 600 series chips as well. ASMedia and AMD have been friends for years, so ASMedia was expected to get the orders.
Deadlines for AMD's new chipsets and processors are rumored to line up. The China Times estimated that Zen 3 desktop processors, which will likely be called Ryzen 4000 (codename Vermeer), will likely drop in the second half of this year.
