Detected a new virus in some applications on Google Play

It is the third malware detected in a month in Google Play. Something that leads many to question the security of the page and the applications available on it. Although in this case the malware does not seem to be that serious.

In this case, the malware detected in the applications ensures that the infected applications are saturated with advertising. So their objective is economic, and they do not seek to obtain access to user data. Although in principle it does not seem too serious, it seems that this malware consumes a huge amount of battery. It has also been commented that those with lower-middle range devices may notice a drop in performance.

Infected applications are mostly wallpapers. These are the following apps: Attunable, Classywall, Firamo, FlameryHot, NeonApp, Goopolo, Litvinka Co, Livelypapir, Tuneatpa Personalization, Waterflo, X Soft, and Zheka. All of them are confirmed as infected, and it is not ruled out that there are others.

Google has already been informed about the presence of this malware on Google Play. So everything should be fixed soon. Although this should work as a new wake-up call for Google, since the presence of viruses in your store is increasing. So clearly, there is something wrong with malware detection. Have you downloaded any of these applications?
