The NO.1 S10 comes in a compact 100 x 80 x 65mm case that's just about the right size for the smartwatch and its components. Of the box its white color stands out with the brand name on the front, although curiously the model number is not specified, and there is also a multitude of system icons, which do not entirely correspond to those brought by this watch. At the back is where we find small letters, the model number. When opening the box, we find the watch embedded in foam for your protection. Inside we find together:
- Smartwatch NO.1 S10. Charging cable. User manual.

- A cheap but lacking smartwatch.
The DT NO.1 S10 smartwatch, from the unknown Chinese company NO.1, was recently launched on the market. We are dealing with a low-cost smart watch that seeks to maintain a level of quality and combine the style of a traditional watch and that of a sports watch. Its characteristics include its autonomy of up to two weeks, its resistance to water and dust and its sensor for measuring heart rate and blood pressure. All this at a very affordable price. After our review you will be able to know if its quality lives up to its price.
Technical Characteristics DT NO.1 S10
The NO.1 S10 comes in a compact 100 x 80 x 65mm case that's just about the right size for the smartwatch and its components. Of the box its white color stands out with the brand name on the front, although curiously the model number is not specified, and there is also a multitude of system icons, which do not entirely correspond to those brought by this watch. At the back is where we find small letters, the model number. When opening the box, we find the watch embedded in foam for your protection. Inside we find together:
- Smartwatch NO.1 S10. Charging cable. User manual.
Design
To be a low-cost smartwatch, the NO.1 S10 has a well-designed, well-marked line design, as well as having quite good manufacturing materials that give it a robust appearance. The circular upper crown, like traditional watches, is made of stainless steel, while the touch glass has Corning Gorilla Glass protection against scratches. The rest of the watch is also made of stainless steel, giving it greater durability. Its IP68 protection is remarkable , allowing us to immerse ourselves in water with a maximum depth of one meter and no more than half an hour.
On the right side there are three metal buttons. Each one with its screen-printed function on the circular dial: Start, Menu and Back. The Start button opens the functions, the Menu button allows us to move between the different functions and the Back button serves to go back, as its name suggests. The central Menu button also has a thin red band around it for easy distinguishing.
At the back is the sensor to measure the heart rate, in the center, at the bottom the charging pins next to the magnetic pins to anchor the charging cable and, curiously, some of the the characteristics of NO.1 S10.
Finally, it is worth mentioning the three types of straps available to choose from at the time of your purchase. In our case, we have tested the model with the stainless steel strap, and the other two types are the silicone strap and the synthetic leather strap. Perhaps the silicone one is the least elegant but offers greater comfort and grip for sports activities. The leather one is together with the stainless steel one that works best on the wrist, however, the stainless steel one has the drawback of needing specific tools to remove the links in case it is too large. It is also a strap that can pull hairs on occasion.
screen
The screen that the NO.1 S10 has is a TFT LCD color touch screen with a size of 1.3 inches and a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels with a square shape. The screen has its pros and cons, on the good side, it has colors that without being excellent, are correct for what is needed and look great outdoors, hence the brightness is also a point in favor of this watch. On the other hand, continuing with the quality of the panel, the contrast is an upgradeable aspect but above all, the problem that we have found the most in the NO.1 S10 is its tactile response, which sometimes does not respond as well as it should and does need to pull the side buttons. The viewing angles seemed quite correct to us.
One aspect in which the low price of this watch is noticed is in the shape of the screen, which is square instead of being round and occupying all the space. The clock display shows exactly what it should display but taking advantage of the entire dial would have been the most aesthetic and ideal.
Features
The NO.1 S10 comes with four main displays to choose from, each with its own style. Unfortunately they can't be downloaded any more at the moment, which seems a bit disappointing. It is one of the drawbacks of having an own operating system instead of Google's Wear OS, which apart from being more polished, allows you to download multiple dials.
After sliding the main screen, we will access the eight secondary menus:
- Pedometer. It quantifies the steps, calories and kilometers that we are taking each day. Heart rate and sleep. This function measures our heart rate with the sensor located on the back and is also responsible for measuring our sleep hours using the G sensor. Its performance seems correct although it has room for improvement. Courier. Through this function we can see the notifications that are sent to the smartphone. Messages are not displayed very well but may come in handy on occasion. Exercise. Measure the time, steps, heart rate and calories depending on the sport we do and select from the menu. Change dial. We can select any of the available dials. Compass As its name indicates, it indicates the direction of the cardinal points. It may cost a little to set it up. Stopwatch Settings. We can find our mobile, activate or deactivate the vibration, reset the clock and check the version of the system.
Battery
With a 350 mAh battery, the approximate autonomy that the NO.1 S10 has given us is about 3 days with all the predetermined functions activated. It is possible that disabling some of these functions such as notifications or minimizing brightness may reach a few more hours. The autonomy of the NO.1 S10 is therefore within the average that these devices usually give.
To charge the watch, we will need to use the included magnetic connection charging cable that will require just over two and a half hours. It is necessary to be careful with the direction when laying the cable since it only works in one, not both.
Connectivity
The main connection available to the NO.1 S10 is Bluetooth 4.2. To synchronize both an Android smartphone and an iPhone, it is necessary to download the WearHealth app from each respective store. Then it will be necessary to register and follow the necessary steps to pair the smartwatch to the phone.
The app shows and saves us throughout the days the different aspects that the watch measures such as: the sport performed, hours of sleep and heart rate. It also shows us the routes taken, the friends we have added or different settings, including our personal data, our goals or additional clock settings.
The GPS connection is one of the great missing in this watch model, so if you want to track any sport activity, you will need to use that function from the app on your smartphone.
Conclusion and final words of NO.1 S10
With the NO.1 S10 we find a low cost smart watch, which in my opinion has a good design and offers finishes and material in stainless steel that could well go through a high-end one. It is also appreciated to be able to choose between the three straps available at the time of your purchase.
The software section, on the other hand, is an aspect in which the NO.1 S10 falters a little more. The operating system is not that far away and offers what is fair and unappealing. The same goes for the smartphone app, it works more or less well but offers only what is necessary, without many frills or more options. It is where it shows that it is not an almighty company. If you see a good optimization and speed when it comes to pairing and synchronization with the app. It is not a slow or cumbersome process.
There are negative aspects such as its screen quality and especially its square shape that does not take advantage of the entire front sphere. The inclusion of GPS is also lacking so as not to depend so much on the smartphone and the app. On the other hand, that the touch section does not work fine, it comes to disappoint a little.
One of the advantages of this smartwatch is obviously its price, since we can find it around € 38-40. For that price you can not expect its functions or menus to be wonderful, but it can be useful for those who want to have a smart watch with the basic functions and at a reasonable price.
