At the beginning of this year, during the CES 2017 event, ASUS and Google presented the latest device developed within the framework of the Tango Project, a smartphone named ASUS ZenFone AR whose main novelty was the incorporation of support for the Google Daydream VR platform.

Today during the Google I / O event 2017, the company finally revealed that the ASUS ZenFone AR will go on sale this summer with a price still unknown and only through the American operator Verizon.

The Asus ZenFone AR comes with a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen, as well as 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.

Asus has also incorporated Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor, which although it seems somewhat old, the SoC is specially optimized for Tango, Google's augmented reality platform for mobile phones.
