Yuzu is the most promising emulator of the Nintendo Switch at the moment, its development team continues to advance little by little, and they have already managed to run some video games on the hybrid console of the Japanese company.

This achievement has not been easy and has posed a major reverse engineering challenge. Yuzu is built on the Citra emulator kernel infrastructure, although many modifications have been necessary to adapt it to the Nintendo Switch, the main drawback for the development team has been in the GPU.

For now the only emulators on the Nintendo Switch are Yuzu and RyujiNX. The development team of the former is led by bunnei, Subv, ogniK and jroweboy, while RyujiNX development has youtuber Simply Austin Simply Austin in their ranks. Yuzu's next step will be to make the simplest games on the Nintendo Switch playable, something that will not be easy and we will surely have to wait a few years.
