Orders for the iPhone in all its variants will be less than expected, or at least that is what appears from the sources consulted by DigiTimes. And consequently, the same sources consulted by the media and related to the supply chain ensure that there are already several suppliers preparing for a drop in orders for all models of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

Orders for iPhone device components will reach 15-30% less than expected in the first quarter mainly due to seasonal factors, but some sources argued that slower-than-expected sales of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have reduced momentum for iPhone X ”, reveals the news.

Said report that already in the fourth quarter of last year the sales of the new Apple flagships were below the expected figures, which would have led some suppliers, including the manufacturers of camera modules, chip memory, 3D detection modules, etc., to plan temporary stops in production during the month of February.
