LG v10 finally upgrades to marshmallow
One of the best phones last year was undoubtedly the LG V10 , although it was slow to reach markets outside the United States; It is for many the best flagship that LG has released in a long time. And to everyone's surprise it is being updated globally to the not so new Android 6.0, read on to know more.
If you want to know more about this fantastic phablet you can see it here.
The LG V10 is a mix between the G4 and the recently announced G5, including everything you can ask for is a mobile that will undoubtedly leave you satisfied.
Yesterday we received the news that in Korea and Turkia the mobile is starting to be updated to the newest version of Google's operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow
Although these countries were the first to receive the update, it is spreading steadily, so it shouldn't take long to get to your models.
Just as we told you that Sony's mobiles were being updated, the V10 will also receive version 6.0 (although we already know that version 6.0.1 are mostly bugs and emojis).
Before running to try to update your phones, keep in mind that the update weighs around 850MB, so we recommend doing it using a WI-FI connection.
All the important functions are present and some adjustments have been made to pre-existing applications that have consisted mostly of a name change.
For example QMemo + is now renamed Capture + and LG Bridge will be LG AirDrive
The software version jumps to V20b and it would be practically the same version that the G4 received with the update.
The new addition to security is in the Knock Code that was modified, normally you would have to use only three touches in different blocks of the screen to unlock the device, but now you will have to make up to 6 touches in four different points to be able to do it.
Particularly for users of the G4, this has been a headache since they used to use this method a lot, but with the V10 you have the fastest and safest option of the fingerprint scanner located in the back with the button of blocking (Although it used to be useful when the mobile was face up on the table).
But this is nothing but good news for V10 users as it guarantees the arrival of the long-awaited update.
