Many applications are introducing dark mode today, both on Android and iOS. Now it is the turn of Instagram to make use of said mode in an official way. The social network introduces the dark mode in its application, in its two versions. Users can already use it at any time if they have the latest version of the application.

Dark mode is now official in the Instagram app

They had been testing this dark mode in the app over the months. But now it comes officially and stable to it.

Dark mode

Dark mode is already being deployed in the new version of Instagram, although until all users on the social network have access to it, it will take a while. So you probably won't have access to it for a couple of days, if all goes well. It is only a matter of time therefore, having access to this new function in the app.

The dark mode in the social network is not your own in the app, but you have to force the dark mode of the entire phone interface. This is something that is done from the system developer settings. So it is reserved for Android Pie and Android 10.

If you are interested in using this dark mode, you will have to wait a bit to receive the dark mode on Instagram officially. A function that many were expecting, although it is not exactly the way it was expected to be.
