Huawei presents the next generation of the series, called MateBook X Pro. This is a bigger and more powerful laptop than previous models, with an improved screen and impressive audio technology, as well as a camera hidden in the keyboard.

Huawei presents its new model of MateBook X Pro laptop

Huawei moved the camera from the top of the screen and hid it on the keyboard, mainly to address privacy issues. As you can see in the image below, we see that the camera protrudes by pressing a button and hides it by pressing it again, a solution that seems practical.

In addition to the latest 8th generation Intel Core i5 (or i7) CPUs, the laptop can also be configured with a discrete NVIDIA MX150 graphics chip. The hardware is not powerful but it also gains in finesse and reduces its weight.

The MateBook X Pro has a 14-inch touch screen with a resolution of 3000 x 2000 pixels and a brightness that reaches 450 nits. To complement the screen during your movies or games, MateBook X Pro includes Dolby Atmos 2.0 audio technology for clearer and more dramatic surround sound. To achieve quality sound, the notebook uses four speakers to give that surround sound feeling.

The Pro also includes an array of quad microphones, two more than before, which should allow for clearer voice quality. A much larger touch pad is now located under the keyboard, making mouse navigation more comfortable, too.

Unfortunately, we still don't know how much it will cost and when it will be available, but we do know it will come in two colors (silver and dark gray). Because the original MateBook X started sold for $ 1, 099, we can imagine that it cost more than that.
