Sony is preparing its new next-generation Xperia smartphones, and the first signs are coming to light. We know little about Sony's upcoming Xperia smartphone, other than its code name, Sony H8266, and some specs that have not been confirmed.

It turns out that this code name Sony H8266 has come to light on Geekbench, the famous performance test that records its results via the web.

In addition to the flagship, the hypothetical Xperia XZ2, Sony plans to present at least three other smartphones next year, three devices of which we only know their code names: H8216, H8276 and H8296.

Fortunately, we now have confirmation that Sony's flagship H8266 will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The smartphone has recently been detected in Geekbench and the scores obtained seem to coincide with those obtained by Samsung's Galaxy S9 +, which comes with the same chipset inside.

Apart from that, we have also learned that Sony H8266 will use 4GB RAM and Android 8.0. According to a previous report that we have not yet been able to confirm, the smartphone must also include a 12-megapixel dual-camera setup (both lenses) and a 3, 130 mAh battery.

2018 is going to be a very entertaining year, with Samsung launching a new Galaxy, Apple that would do its thing, the rumors that Microsoft is making a new Surface Phone and Sony with its Xperia XZ2. A year of much information and more rumors is coming.
