Even though the ROG Dominus Extreme has a massive 14 ″ x 14 ″ EEB form factor, there's no room to spare on this new ASUS motherboard. The socket is flanked by a dozen DDR4 DIMM slots with support for up to 192GB of RAM. You can also see space for M.2 modules with capacity for four NVMe SSDs between them. Dual U.2 ports provide connectivity for additional NVMe drives, while four PCIe x16 slots line up for a stack of graphics cards. To avoid bottlenecks, this is all connected directly to the CPU.

Such a platform requires enormous power, so two power supplies can be connected. Of the nine EATX power connectors, six are exclusively dedicated to 12V power. An astounding 32 power stages span the full width of the board, and sit under a large heat sink with stealthy, active cooling. Four fans are hidden inside and only spin when temperatures demand it.

The armor is aluminum, adding a more 'Premium' feel, and the LiveDash OLED uses the same 1.77-inch color display as the Ryujin and Ryuo liquid coolers. Aura Sync lighting dots the armature and I / O cover with easily customizable brightness that also extends to four RGB strip heads - two standard and two addressable.

Support for high-speed 10G wired networks reinforces the platform's business roots. Gigabit-class WiFi is also included, along with ROG's latest SupremeFX audio.

ROG Dominus Extreme will launch in the coming months, compatible with the Intel Core X series.
