Japanese assembler ELSA has launched its first ELSA GeForce GTX 980 SAC graphics card with a custom design based on an aluminum radiator that is crossed by several copper hetpipes that are responsible for distributing the heat. The cooling system is completed with a pair of 75mm fans.
The card makes use of a Nvidia GM 204 GPU manufactured in 28nm and with the Maxwell architecture, it has a total of 2, 048 CUDA cores, 128 TMUs and 64 ROPs that operate at a base frequency of 1, 152 MHz in base mode that amounts to 1, 253 Mhz low Boost. Along with the GPU we find 4GB of GDDR5 VRAM at a frequency of 7, 000 Mhz together with a 256-bit interface.
The specifications are completed by two 6-pin power connectors and HDMI, DVI and three DisplayPort video outputs .
