We receive the Energy Phone Max 2+ in a full color box. With a picture of the product and in large letters the model that we have acquired.

One of the highlights of this mobile is undoubtedly based on its design, with metal frames and polycarbonate material on the back. The Energy Phone Max 2+ has a very good appearance and an elegant finish.

Glass, which has an interesting oleophobic treatment, helps to reduce the appearance of fingerprints. Although unfortunately it does not include anti-scratch and anti-breakage protection.

Another point that may be of interest: the battery cache can be removed. This allows access to 2 SIM card slots, as well as the micro SD slot and also the battery, which, unfortunately, cannot be removed due to its "unibody" design .

Display and hardware

The Energy Phone Max 2+ is a mobile that has interesting specifications, including a 5.5-inch IPS screen with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and offering very good quality for watching movies.

Pixel density is relatively low (267 pixels per inch, well below the 300 needed to get a clear image).

Color management is good, but sometimes it will be necessary to adjust the brightness to maximum to see properly. However, as this is an entry phone, the components (CPU, RAM, GPU) would not have allowed the 3D graphics to be viewed smoothly.

The Energy Phone Max 2+ is a basic mobile, which is reflected in its internal configuration. It comes from the factory with a Mediatek MT6735 quad-core processor, a chip that is common in entry-level computers, which in this case is supported by 2 GB of RAM.

For internal memory, it has 16 GB that can be expanded up to an additional 128 GB by using MicroSD memory cards.

Autonomy is pretty good. This mobile will exceed 1 day before it needs to be recharged, or even 2 days if you make moderate use. The battery is 3, 500 mAh lithium polymer, therefore it seems more than enough for this phone, but unfortunately the Max 2+ does not have fast charge, which makes charging from 0 to 100% a little longer. Despite this, using the Doze mode that includes Android Marshmallow, you can achieve about 17 hours of phone conversations and about 177 hours in idle mode .

The sound surprises us

As for sound, the brand claims that the one provided by the speakers offers powerful sound, and that it even gave it the name of "Xtreme Sound". This is due to the presence of 2 speakers placed on both sides that provide an output power of 2W RMS.

It must be recognized that the sound is powerful and of high quality. Even leaning on a table, it is not the typical muffled sound in which music is barely heard.
