Google Home is the new home assistant for Mountain Viewers with integration with company services such as Google Now. This is a response to the Amazon Echo announced in November 2014 and like this is controlled by voice commands. iFixit has given it a score of 8/10, which means it is quite easy to repair.

iFixit shows us inside the Google Home

The new Google Home has been passed through the hands of iFixit that have quickly been gutted to show us its interior, an interior that hides several surprises. The Google Home has a fairly simple electronics that, basically, is made up of the same components that we can find in the second generation Chromecast. In fact we have the same Marvell Armada 1500 processor accompanied by 256 MB of storage signed by Toshiba and the same 512 MB of DDR3 memory. The differences are found in the components that have been added so that the Google Now is able to recognize the user's voice commands and some WIFi and Bluetooth chips different from those of the Chromecast 2. The Google Now assistant is already in pre-sale in some countries for a price of $ 129.
