We will now analyze each of the main utilities that this CCleaner offers us.

File cleaner

This tool is the hallmark of CCleaner. By means of a simple and fast analysis, the program is capable of indiscriminately eliminating all temporary files that are no longer useful for the system.

You can also delete the cache of the web browsers that we use. They can be Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.

The first option we have in Windows is to Free up disk space for life. To open it we will do the following:

• We go to the icon of "this computer" in the file explorer. On our hard disk we right-click and choose properties. We press the "free up space" button.

After a first analysis it will show us a list of files that can be removed. If we click once more on the button "Clean system files" we will get a larger list of files to delete.

It was also a fairly quick procedure. In this case, it informs us that we can free up more than 21 GB of space. And ignoring the previous installations of Windows they would be more than 900 MB.

It is a much higher figure than that proposed by CCleaner, at least in this professional trial version. So you can see that we are not cheating, we will put the two programs together.

The only negative point from the Windows cleaner is that to clean the cache of the browsers we would have to do it manually in each one of them. Again, there are more advantages than disadvantages, as you will prevent CCleaner from deleting important data from the browser.
