These could be the new emojis that we see in 2019

Tomorrow the arrival of Unicode 11 will take place, however, before that time, the consortium in charge of the popular “emoticons” took advantage of the moments prior to the weekend to launch a new article with the new emojis that will be released on Apple devices to later this year. And although this was no longer a secret, the occasion was used to indicate what users can already expect for the next version, Unicode 12, scheduled for March 2019.

Emojis, more emojis

The list of emoji characters that will be released in 2019 is, for the moment, quite short. Among them are flamenco and white hearts, which are the two "most requested" emojis by Emojipedia users this year. Other possible candidates are the diving glasses, or a small ax, among others that you can see just below these lines.

At the moment, these emojis are only candidates for inclusion in Unicode 12, "and no decisions have been made on the final list of emojis for 2019", although Emojipedia continues to expand the list of candidates for Unicode 12 with ballet flats, butter, a stethoscope and more.

For Unicode version 11 of 2018, social media is expected to adopt the new emojis later this summer or, while Apple and other smartphone makers will likely add all the new emoticons in OS updates in the fall.. These include parrot, lobster, kangaroo and many more that you can see below:

In this regard, Apple is expected to add these new characters on its iOS, macOS and watchOS devices around September 2018.
