Like the rest of the main manufacturers, EVGA has announced its new Intel 200 series motherboards for Kaby Lake processors.

EVGA Z270 Classified K

The new top-of-the-range motherboard is the EVGA Z270 Classified K, a model that is strongly focused on overclocking by having a robust VRM cooled by a heatsink that is responsible for maintaining controlled temperatures. We also found Creative Core3D quad-core sound technology that reduces processor load by reproducing sound to improve overall system performance compared to other more common sound systems like Realtek ALC1150. The most negative aspect is that it is limited to 2-way SLI configurations when the previous Z170 Classified K has support for 4-way SLI.

EVGA Z270 FTW-K

Secondly we have the EVGA Z270 FTW-K whose main features are the inclusion of two M.2 slots for high-speed SSD hard drives, also gutter with an advanced USB 3.1 Type-C port increasingly used.

EVGA Z270 Stinger

Finally we have the EVGA Z270 Stinger that maintains the same remarkable characteristics as the previous one but adds a more robust VRM than its predecessor Z170 thinking about a better overclock.

Three motherboards that do not mark a great evolution over the previous models of the Z170 series but they do add some interesting novelties, the exception is the EVGA Z270 Classified K that has reduced its multi-GPU support. All three models will launch on the market today at unannounced prices.
