Evga puts a price on the rtx 2080 ti black edition

Considering the amount of publicity that NVIDIA's GeForce RTX series launched had, it seemed obvious that the cards were going to be very hard to come by once they hit the market. EVGA is unveiling the RTX 2080 Ti Black Edition, the top EVGA model unveiled yet, and at a really high price for most.

Whether $ 999 is a lot of money or not depends on your perspective (or your pocket), but for a new high-end graphics card, it's certainly not what we expected, given historical trends.

The new card is called the RTX 2080 Ti Black Edition, and with an all-black design with an acrylic faceplate, the result is a very attractive graphics card. The card should also cool well, as it features new plastered "hydrodynamic support" fans with mini EVGA logos that help reduce noise and increase fan life. It is even including a free "ornament kit" that will allow us to personalize the card with red or white decorations instead of black.

The graphics card is not yet available for shipment

While the name "Black Edition" gives the impression that the card can be overclocked at the factory, this model has the same specifications as the reference model. That means we have a 1545MHz Boost clock, and 14GHz memory clocks that offer 616 GB / s of bandwidth.
