"One of the key differentiators for users and businesses using Messenger is the ability to connect and reach people around the world. This is why we are delighted to announce that Marketplace buyers and sellers will be able to communicate in all languages. From now on, when users connected through the Marketplace receive a message in a language that is different from their default language in Messenger, M will ask them if they want to translate the message, which will help drive commerce between buyers and sellers to despite the language barriers. At launch, translations from English to Spanish and vice versa will be available at Marketplace conversations taking place in the United States."

Facebook intends to bring M translations to the country challenge at some point in the future.
