Redstone 4 will improve bluetooth connectivity between devices

The arrival of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update has generated a multitude of headlines worldwide. Now that it is a reality, attention begins to focus on Redstone 4. The next version of Windows is expected to arrive between March and April next year. Little by little, more details are revealed about this new version of which we still do not know its official name.

Redstone 4 will improve Bluetooth connectivity between devices

In addition to a completely updated new version of Cortana and improvements to the Security Center, an improvement in Bluetooth connectivity has been announced. The aim is to optimize the wireless connection of our equipment. In fact, the process will be simpler and faster.

Better and easier Bluetooth connectivity in Redstone 4

A feature called "Quick Pairing" is expected to arrive. In this way, connecting a Bluetooth device to Windows 10 will be much simpler and faster. The idea is that it is enough to bring a device that we want to connect to the computer or tablet. Then, the computer will be in charge of recognizing this device. An acknowledgment message will appear on the screen and pairing starts.

So it is assumed that with this function Bluetooth connectivity will always be active. Thus, when a device requests to connect, it will do so immediately. So the process will be faster. It is also expected that some security measure will be introduced to prevent any device from connecting.

The pairing is expected to come soon in the next Builds that will be released for Insiders Program users. But it is not yet known when this will occur. So we will have to wait for more news about this new feature in Redstone 4.
