We have a new leak on the AMD Ryzen 2000 platform, the new processors that would arrive sometime in April to renew the company's catalog.

The AMD X470 chipset will be the one that comes in the new high-end motherboards for Ryzen 2000 processors, of course these will be compatible with the current X370, B350 and A320 although this will require a BIOS update, the latest versions released by manufacturers already offer support for these new processors. The new chipsets are expected to offer better support for high-speed memory.
For now the new top of the range will be the Ryzen 7 2700X with eight cores and sixteen threads and a speed of up to 4.35 GHz. This will have 16 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 105W, 10W more than the Ryzen 7 1700X, so it seems that the move to a manufacturing process at 12 nm has not been enough to maintain power consumption.

We go down one step and we come across the Ryzen 7 2700 that maintains the same number of core s, although its speed drops to 4.1 GHz turbo and 3.2 GHz base, this chip would maintain the same 105W TDP of its older brother. We go down a new step and find the Ryzen 5 2600X with a base speed of 3.6 GHz and up to 4.25 GHz maximum in its six-core and twelve-wire configuration.
Finally, the Ryzen 5 2600 is mentioned with a price of $ 199, a base speed of 3.3 GHz and a maximum turbo speed of 3.9 GHz. Its TDP is only 65W so it will be a very efficient processor.
