AMD has announced the new professional graphics card FirePro W9100 with a massive 32 GB of video memory, thus surpassing the FirePro S9300 X2, which with its two GPUs Fiji offers "only" 8 GB of memory. Discover all the features of this card aimed at creating content in 4K virtual reality.

AMD FirePro W9100 technical features

The AMD FirePro W9100 is based on a fully unlocked Hawaii GPU with its 2, 816 stream processors, 176 TMUs, and 64 ROPs, operating at a clock rate of 930 MHz, and paired with massive 32GB of GDDR5 memory to deliver sensational performance for creating content in virtual reality and 4K resolution. This card is capable of offering a power of 2 TeraFlops in double precision calculations and 5 TeraFlops in single precision.

With these features, the AMD FirePro W9100 features a 275W TDP and is powered by two 6 + 2-pin PCI-Express connectors that are responsible for supplying it with power that the motherboard cannot supply. The card features video outputs in the form of Mini DiplayPort to allow configurations with up to 6 monitors with 4K resolution.
