The Japanese company Fixtars has announced the launch of a new SSD storage unit characterized by being the first in the world to reach a capacity of 13 TB, we are talking about the Fixstars SSD 13000M.The Fixstars SSD 13000M arrives in a 2.5-inch SATA format III with an impressive 13TB storage capacity so you don't have to compromise on speed or high capacity. It is based on Toshiba NAND technology and a proprietary Fixtars controller being able to achieve sequential read and write rates of 580 MB / s and 520 MB / s respectively.
The negative point is obviously its price, which will be out of the reach of the majority, approximately 13, 000 euros.
