Paradoxically, the official Twitter client has always been criticized for lacking certain functionalities that some of the unofficial third-party clients did have. And now, just when the microblogging social network is pulling back lots of options that these customers had, a new option appears. This is Flitter, a new Twitter client for iPhone, with a very careful and beautiful design, which presents a tweet editing solution, dark mode and more.

Flitter

Flitter is the new Twitter client for iPhone that wants to make an egg in a market that is already quite saturated. As they point out from 9to5Mac, from the beginning the application has focused on the user experience and on implementing all those options that users have been claiming from other third-party clients and that they did not find in the official client.

Although most of those features are already included in the app, some are still to come while others have been completely removed. For example, after Twitter announced the interruption of alerts, the Flitter developer decided to remove this feature.

Despite this, Flitter offers a special mode for OLED displays, a dark mode, the ability to edit tweets, supports haptic keyboard feedbacks, on-the-fly tweet translations, Touch ID, Face ID, and more.

As we said, some features are still pending, missing an application for the Apple Watch, although the developer has promised to continue improving the application and will add these and other features in a future update.

The application is already available in reserve mode for € 2.29 in the App Store, while the official launch will take place on May 5.
