Fujitsu launches new scanner models: sp-1120, sp-1125 and sp

The range is made up of Fujitsu models SP-1120, SP-1125 and SP-1130 and complements the existing product lines of the fi and ScanSnap ranges, covering the segment from 20 to 30 pages per minute (A4 color, duplex 200 / 300 dpi). The new models in the SP Range are designed for companies looking to increase their productivity and are specially designed to perform routine and simple scanning tasks in professional environments, such as scanning documents to a file or for individual departments. All SP Series models incorporate the PaperStream IP driver that provides image enhancement features to ensure high capture quality.

PaperStream IP software to improve efficiency

Fujitsu PaperStream IP software automatically creates high-quality images. The PaperStream IP driver, in addition to being TWAIN / ISIS compliant, automatically detects document size, orientation, simplex / duplex, and converts scanned documents into exceptionally sharp images, speeding up OCR (Optical Character Recognition), even when Scan wrinkled, stained, or watermarked documents. The software package also includes ABBYY FineReader Sprint to help generate searchable files and Presto! PageManager to manage and edit documents.

Compact design, easy to use

Its compact format makes the models of the SP range ideal for use on the office table or in the reception area. They have a simple control panel with only two buttons (Scan / Stop and power), making them very easy to use and reducing the possibility of making a mistake. The scanners are equipped with a "brake-roller" that allows to precisely separate each page and an ultrasonic sensor for the detection of double feeds. Other advantages are that the paper flow inside the scanner is practically flat, allowing users to scan double-sided credit cards or IDs in a single pass. The document feeder (ADF) has a capacity of 50 A4-size sheets.

Fujitsu models SP-1120, SP-1125 and SP-1130 will be available from Fujitsu dealers from June 2015. The recommended retail price is € 379 plus VAT for the SP-1120, € 429 plus VAT for the SP-1125 and € 549 plus VAT for the SP-1130.
