Futuremark announces testdriver, a tool for automating benchmarks

Futuremark today announced Testdriver, a benchmark automation tool for system analysts, quality control departments, and hardware review specialists. Although it doesn't have any benchmarks on its own, Testdriver will allow you to program and automate your own selection of benchmarks, in addition to helping you with the presentation and aggregation of data.

Thus, in addition to running benchmarks, Futuremark's Testdriver also has the ability to collect and store results and to create graphs and reports without anyone having to monitor the process.

The new tool comes with support for some very popular benchmark tools, including PCMark 10, PCMark 8, 3DMark, 3DMark 11, and VRMark, but it should also have support for other third-party benchmarks.

As this is a business-oriented program, Futuremark also offers email technical support to customers to help them integrate third-party software into their application. Considering that the software is designed for various groups of customers, Futuremark will sell Tesdriver through its parent company UL, and it will be the customers who should contact the company by email to order the application, explaining the uses they think give it in order to receive an exact quote.
