G.Skill has launched a new SSD to the market that has the particularity of working through a PCI-Express 2.0 x8 interface for maximum data transfer speed overcoming the bottleneck of the SATA III 6GB / s interface.
The G.Skill Phoenix Blade SSD has a capacity of 480GB and has been built around four LSI SF-2281 controllers operating in Raid 0 mode , allowing it to achieve sequential read / write speeds of up to 2, 000 MB / s and values. 4K Random Read / Write 90, 000 / 245, 000 IOPS.
Its features are completed with TRIM and SMART support , a consumption of 18W, an estimated life before errors of 1, 000, 000 hours and a size of 170 x 70 x 21 mm.
