G.SKILL Launches New Four-Channel DDR4 Memory for Intel X299 and AMD TRX40

It is no wonder that memory kits are only available in four-channel configurations. Memory speeds range from DDR4-2666 to DDR4-4000 and capacities from 32GB to 256GB.

Among the recently announced G.Skill offerings are three noteworthy memory kits. The first consists of a 256GB DDR4-4000 kit consisting of eight 32GB (32GB x 8) DDR4 memory modules. DIMMs operate at a speed of 4, 000 MHz with CL timings of 18-22-22-22-42 and an operating voltage of 1.35V.

G.Skill also has a 256GB (32GB x 8) DDR4-3600 kit for serious workstation users looking for a balance of capacity and performance. This particular kit comes with eight 32GB DDR4 modules running 3, 600 MHz with 1.40V and CL16-19-19-39 timings.

If large amounts of memory are not required, there is a 64GB (8GB x 8) DDR4-4000 kit with optimized CL15-16-16-16-36 timings. In order to operate at the announced speed with the times mentioned above, the modules require 1.50V.
