With the AMD Ryzen and Threadripper platforms constantly in the process of improvement, we have seen an increase in the ability of the two platforms to handle a larger capacity of RAM, faster and more stable. G.Skill has just announced the new Trident Z RGB DDR4 memories for AMD, which will be available from speeds of 2400 MHz to 3200 MHz.

G.Skill Announces New High-Capacity Memories for Ryzen and Threadripper

Trident Z RGB DDR4 for AMD will come in different capacities, from 16GB to 128GB.

Reaching 3200 MHz is more common today than it was at launch, due in part to improved motherboard BIOS for next-gen AMD platforms. The kits tell us that they have improved compatibility on the latest AMD platform, with greater capacity and more speed, including RGB LEDs to improve the visual aspect.

The kits will come in two, four and eight configurations with 8GB and 16GB modules that allow capacities ranging from 16GB to 128GB. High-capacity 128GB kits can achieve speeds up to 2933MHz CL14, while speeds up to 3200MHz CL14 are possible with 32GB (4 × 8GB) kits.

Trident Z RGB DDR4 modules will be available from October, at the moment we are not knowing the price they will have, but it is expected that they will not be very different from the Intel variants.
