Galax launches the gtx 980 and 970 hall of fame
The assembler Galax has announced the launch of its customized Nvidia GTX 980 HOF and GTX 970 HOF cards belonging to its Hall of Fame series with an attractive design and high performance. They have the highest quality components and dual BIOS.
The new Galax GTX 980 HOF and GTX 970 HOF cards arrive with a custom 10-layer PCB that incorporates a VRM with an 8 + 2 phase power design, capable of delivering up to 60A, to ensure the best possible performance from your Nvidia GPU GM 204 and a high overclocking capacity, promising to reach 1.5 GHz by air and a whopping 2.1 GHz with liquid nitrogen. It is powered by 2 8-pin connectors.
They incorporate an efficient heatsink formed by an aluminum radiator that is crossed by seven nickel-plated copper heatpipes, four 8mm and three 6mm, which are responsible for distributing the heat. Two 80mm white side fans and one 90mm black central fan are responsible for generating enough airflow to keep the card cool. They include an aluminum rear backplate.
The GTX 970 HOF reaches frequencies of 1216/1380 MHz and the GTX 980 HOF reaches 1304/1418 MHz. They include 3x DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0 and Dual-Link DVI-I video output.
