The Gamdias Zeus P1 comes to us with a very compact cardboard box, this one presents a habitual design in the brand with a predominance of black and white colors although it is quite adorned with the rest of the colors as you can see in the photos. On the front we find the logo of the brand, a great image of the mouse with the lighting activated and the main characteristics. On the back and sides its features are more detailed, almost all in English. The box does not have a window so we cannot appreciate the product.

We open the box and find the mouse, very well accommodated by a piece of cardboard, and a quick start guide, nothing more.

We now focus our eyes on the mouse itself, we find a braided cable with a black color finish that gives it a classic and attractive appearance while protecting it against wear. The Gamdias Zeus P1 is manufactured with an asymmetrical design and a high quality black plastic body in which the lighting will take care of breaking the excess of monochrome. It is a fairly light mouse with a figure of 125 grams to provide great agility and the best travel speed. Its dimensions are also quite contained with measures of 127.26 x 72.45 x 40.85 mm.

The Gamdias Zeus P1 is based on an ergonomic design for great wearing comfort and to avoid fatigue on the hand and wrist. We find two programmable buttons on the left side to always have a couple of very accessible actions, something that is increasingly rare not to see in a mouse with a minimum of quality. We find three additional programmable buttons on the top, one of them is formed by the wheel, of course we do not forget the main buttons with top quality Omron mechanisms, these buttons are perfectly accessible to the fingers without any effort. With this we have the seven programmable buttons in total. All buttons show a pleasant touch that denotes quality.

The wheel is quite large in size making it more ergonomic than most mice, offering precise travel on both short and long journeys. Like most mice it offers scroll in only two directions (horizontal) and makes us miss a four way wheel especially if you have used one before.

On the back we find the logo of the brand that this time is part of the lighting system as well as the side ring and the wheel.

The Gamdias Zeus P1 works with an advanced 12000 DPI optical sensor, it offers us six operating modes To adapt to all situations, we can alternate between them with the two programmable buttons on the top that are under the wheel. By default it comes with values of 1600/2400/5600/8200/10800/12000 DP I although we can modify it at will from the software. Remember that a high DPI value allows us to make a great tour with a very small movement of the mouse so it will be especially suitable for multi-monitor configurations. In contrast, low DPI values will be ideal in games where high precision of movement is required.

At the end of the 1.8 meter USB cable we find the gold-plated USB connector for better conservation over time and better contact.

Gamdias Hera Software

The Gamdias Zeus P1 mouse can be used without the need to install any software, although we highly recommend its installation in order to take full advantage of it. The software can be downloaded from the official website of the manufacturer, once downloaded its installation is extremely easy.

We open the software and we find a great interface in which we have all the menus accessible in a very simple way, so we can have all the parameters at hand at all times. We can create a total of 5 profiles that are stored in the internal memory of the mouse to always have it ready to go to our friends' house or events. In addition we can make the profiles load automatically when we open specific games or applications, something really practical.

The advanced software offers us the function of assigning the functions that we want to its seven programmable buttons in a very simple and intuitive way. We can choose functions as varied and advanced as the typical ones of a mouse, keyboard events, functions related to the reproduction of multimedia files, adjustments of the DPI values, change of profile, macros, open applications, Skype functions and many more. Something that is particularly striking is that we can assign a sound or even a song at the press of a certain button, with this we can have a music festival when using our mouse, something that is not highly recommended to work but that some will like users.

We now look at the mouse sensor settings, we have a total of five DPI profiles that we can configure from 200 to 12000 DPI and always in ranges of 200. We also find the polling rate setting at 125/250/750/1000 Hz, the speed of the double click and the scroll and finally the acceleration control.
