Gamepolis: new edition of the video game festival from July 20 to 22

Gamepolis is possibly the best-known video game festival in Spain. Over the years, it has established itself among the public, with more than 40, 000 attendees last year. This year, from July 20 to 22, the new edition of the festival is held in the city of Malaga, at the Palace of Fairs and Congresses. An edition that arrives loaded with news and in which they hope to exceed 50, 000 attendees.

The eSports tournaments, Nintendo and the presentation of some exclusive games are the main attractions of this year's Gamepolis edition. An edition in which there are news for all tastes. What can we expect?

ESports tournaments in Gamepolis

This year's edition pays special attention to eSports tournaments, whose popularity is on the rise worldwide. There will be a number of tournaments available, of all kinds of games. So if you are interested, it is a great opportunity to consider. You will be able to participate in tournaments in Fortnite, League of Legends, Call of Duty: WWII, FIFA 18, Clash Royale, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Arena of Valor and Hearthstone. Some of the most popular games of the moment worldwide.

In addition, it should be noted that you can take great prizes in these tournaments. The prize in the aforementioned is 25, 000 euros in cash. While in League of Legends or Fortnite tournaments, the prizes amount to 5, 000 and 4, 500 euros respectively. Exclusive games and a lot of Nintendo

In addition, on Saturday, July 21, a Nintendo exhibition tournament will be held, with the 16 best players in Spain.

Other games available for Nintendo Switch that we will meet at the event are: FIFA 19, Splatoon 2 (Octo Expansion), Dragon Ball FighterZ and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. As you can see, Nintendo will be one of the great protagonists of Gamepolis.

Conferences and events

Another aspect that makes Gamepolis such an interesting festival is that we have many additional events, such as conferences and musical performances. We have many different topics in terms of conferences, either talking about the impact of games like Pokémon or with journalists in the sector.

Music plays an important role at the festival, where we have several concerts. Enocguitar and NPC's are one of the main attractions of Gamepolis. We can also expect a performance from rapper Kronno Zomber. In addition, we have an Indie zone and a retro zone, where you can listen to music from these genres.
