Nvidia has released its Geforce 441.41 WHQL driver for Windows, offering support for both Halo Reach and Quake II RTX version 1.2. However, the most important thing is the extended Image Sharpening support for Vulkan and OpenGL.

Nvidia's Geforce 441.41 drivers add Image Sharpening for OpenGL and Vulkan

In addition to Nvidia's Game Ready optimizations and Halo Reach support, Nvidia added support for Nvidia Image Sharpening for both Vulkan and OpenGL titles, which can be used to increase the sharpness of older titles and update them to resolution of higher screen. This means that DirectX 9, 10, 11 and 12 are compatible together with Vulkan and OpenGL, covering all the main graphical APIs on the market.

The new Game Ready Driver provides the latest performance optimizations, profiles and bug fixes for Halo: Reach. This game is 'legendary' on the Xbox360 console and will now debut on PC for the first time. It is possible that more games in the saga will also end up on PC in the coming months.

Furthermore, this version also provides optimal support for the Quake II RTX v1.2 update, which provides interesting quality improvements for Ray Tracing and textures.
