If we have started the day talking about the new GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, we come back to the fray with new images that have been leaked confirming some of its features and the first custom version of the card that has already been listed.

GeForce GTX 1060 reference model details

The GeForce GTX 1060 uses an apparently very simple PCB that is powered by a single 6-pin power connector just like the Radeon RX 480. In this case there should be no problem with much lower power consumption than the AMD card, because the new GTX 1060 has a TDP of only 120W. The small size of its PCB makes the reference cooling system stand out. It is confirmed that the GeForce GTX 1060 does not allow SLI configurations and we find five video outputs in the form of a DVI, an HDMI 2.0 and three DisplayPorts.

Asus custom versions already listed on a website

Thanks to a Lithuanian website, we have already listed the first two personalized versions of the card, the Asus Strix GTX 1060 Gaming and Asus Strix GTX 1060 Gaming OC, which will arrive with 6 GB of GDDR5 memory despite the website showing 8 GB, not it is more than a typographical error.

The surprise is seen in the prices of both cards, 472 euros and 499 euros, which without a doubt have to be an error since it is almost the price for which we can find the GeForce GTX 1070 in its personalized versions. It is rumored that the reference model of the GeForce GTX 1060 will have an approximate price of 350 euros without having spoken about whether it is the variant with 6 GB or its reduced version with only 3 GB of memory, if confirmed we could see the customized versions assemblers for prices close to 400 euros, a much higher figure than the Radeon RX 480.
