Nvidia is preparing for the launch of a new top-of-the-range graphics card based on the Pascal architecture, the new GeForce GTX Titan P will be shown at Gamescom in Germany between August 17 and 21.

GeForce GTX Titan P and Pascal GP100 will offer spectacular performance

The GeForce GTX Titan P would be based on the Pascal GP100 GPU and it is likely that it will come in two variants differentiated by the amount of memory, one of them will have 12 GB and the other will have 16 GB. Both cards will use HBM2 memory technology with 3, 072-bit and 4, 096-bit interfaces respectively for very high performance. This approach would be very similar to the one used by Nvidia in its Tesla P100 cards with a PCI-Express interface.

We recommend reading our guide to the best graphics cards on the market.

The GeForce GTX Titan P could have a TDP between 300 and 375W, so it will take the necessary power to work through two 8-pin connectors. The GP100 GPU would be the most powerful chip built with the Pascal architecture, it could have a total of 3, 840 CUDA Cores to offer spectacular performance and superior to anything seen on the market so far. A step below is the Pascal GP102 that sees its FP64 cores reduced and that could come in the GeForce GTX 1080Ti with a 384-bit interface and GDDR5X memory.
