Gelid solutions announces its new antarctica heatsink

Anonim

GELID Solutions, the world leader in cooling solutions, is proud to announce its new Antartica CPU cooler designed to deliver great performance to users who choose to trust it to keep their CPU temperature at bay.

The new Gelid Antartica heatsink is based on a classic design with a tower-shaped radiator formed by aluminum fins that is crossed by a total of five copper heatpipes that are responsible for absorbing the heat from the CPU and distributing it throughout the body of the radiator. For its part, the base is made of copper and includes a small radiator made of the same material, all with the aim of improving the cooling capacity of the whole. As a result the Antartica can dissipate up to 220W of heat.

The set is completed by a 140mm silent fan with PWM control that can rotate at speeds between 450 RPM and 150 RPM. Gelid has worked on the design of the blades to improve the generated air flow while reducing the noise generated resulting in a very quiet, high-performance fan. The bundle is complete with tools to install a second fan and GC-Extreme thermal compound.

It is compatible with all sockets from both AMD and Intel, although to mount it on LGA 2011 we must purchase the accessories separately.

Intel ™ Socket 775, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011 *, 1150 & 1151:

AMD ™ Socket AM2 / AM2 + / AM3 / AM3 + / FM1 & FM2:

Its price is approximately 37 euros.
