The 3 megapixel image sensor at the heart of the FaceCam 3000 supports a 720p (1280 x 720) HD video resolution with a speed of up to 30 images per second. The FaceCam 3000 is capable of recording full 3 megapixel video at 15 frames per second.

Its installation is easy and fast since no driver is required for Windows 7, Mac and most Linux systems. A cable is included to connect the camera to any available USB 2.0 for fast data transfer. Its versatile clip-on base attaches easily to monitors, laptops, and other surfaces, and can also hold the FaceCam 3000 on flat surfaces.

The package includes the powerful CrazyTalk and Video Easy applications for real-time video chat, desktop sharing, and video recording for uploading to YouTube or Facebook. The FaceCam software records video in WMV format and images in JPG format.
