Gigabyte has proudly announced a new upgrade to its ultra-compact Gigabyte Brix computers to include the new and highly efficient Intel Kaby Lake processors belonging to the seventh generation Intel Core to improve its performance without increasing power consumption.

The new Turbo Boost 2.0 technology included in these processors allows them to increase their working frequency automatically to improve their performance at key moments while saving energy when the workload does not demand a lot of performance.

New Intel HD graphics deliver 10% higher performance than previous Brix generations, plus a new media engine with support for hardware acceleration of the HEVC 10-bit codec, resulting in much smoother content playback More demanding 4K and better performance for content creation.

The new Gigabyte Brix include the most advanced connectivity thanks to the presence of the latest standards such as HDMI2.0 with HDCP 2.2 support that will allow users to enjoy multimedia playback in all its glory.
