Gigabyte has introduced its new Gigabyte GA-X99M-Gaming 5 motherboard with Micro-ATX format that incorporates an LGA 2011-3 socket from Intel to offer the possibility of mounting a high-performance computer with a reduced form factor.

The new Gigabyte GA-X99M-Gaming 5 motherboard arrives in a Micro-ATX format and offers four DDR4 DIMM slots instead of the eight that are common on ATX format boards. It includes a CPU power system with high-quality components such as IR Digital PWM and IR PowIRstage ® IC that offer maximum reliability and best possible performance.

Regarding the graphic options, it has two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, being compatible with Crossfire and SLI 2-way configurations. We also found two M.2 slots being one of them for an SSD storage unit and the other for the WiFi card. One SATA Express port and six SATA III ports take care of completing the storage options. We found a total of four USB 3.0 ports and ten USB 2.0 ports .

Other features include Killer E2200 network card, high-quality Realtek ALC1150 audio with separate PCB section to prevent electromagnetic interference, gold-plated connectors, high-quality solid capacitors, Gigabyte DualBIOS, and passive heatsinks with heatpipes for optimal cooling.
