About three weeks ago Gigabyte presented a variant of the GTX 1050 GPU that came with 3GB of GDDR5 memory, something that was highly demanded by players due to the scarce 2GB that came in the original model. Now, the famous manufacturer, launches two new models of the GTX 1050 3GB.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 3GB

The 3GB GeForce GTX 1050 is a variant that is the same as the first model released (OC) but comes with a single turbine. This SKU has 768 CUDA cores, just like GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, but it also has a bus width of less than 96 bits, which affects the memory bandwidth.

This card is made for computers with a compact form factor, making it more convenient to manipulate and insert into a small PC. Unlike the other model (mentioned below), this card does not have factory overclocking. However, a custom frequency profile can be applied through the Gigabyte software.

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1050 3GB OC Low-Profile

As we can see in the image above, this model is even smaller than the previous one with a low-profile design. Interestingly, not only is it faster than the previous card, but it also has more display connectors, including: DVI, DisplayPort, and a pair of HDMI.

The only bad thing, we imagine, may be the temperatures wanting to apply overclocking, especially in hotter times. Then the technical characteristics are similar, the same GP107 GPU with 768 CUDA cores and a 96-bit memory bus.

The price and availability date one has not been said a word, so we will keep you informed.
