GIGABYTE today announced the launch of the new generation of Gemini Lake motherboards based on the J / N series of the latest Intel Pentium Silver and Intel Celeron processors.
Gigabyte uses passive cooling on Gemini Lake CPUs
Featuring a glass cloth PCB with moisture protection, long-acting capacitors, anti-overload integrated circuits, low-resistance MOSFETS and ultra-durable components, the GIGABYTE J / N series motherboards are already here to offer users great possibilities for users who want to build compact PCs.
GIGABYTE's new J / N series motherboards use a fanless cooling solution and the integrated Intel Gemini Lake processors make them perfect for compact computers.
GIGABYTE motherboards support HDMI 2.0 output with maximum 4K resolution in a 21: 9 aspect ratio. Integrated PCIe Gen2 x2 M.2 slots are also included for use with high-speed NVMe SSDs.
DDR4 memory slots are of the UDIMM type that supports speeds of up to 2400MHz.
These motherboards are ideal for compact, quiet computers based on the Intel Celeron and Pentium Silver, as they do not use any form of air cooling to keep these chips cool and operational. This does not surprise us, for example, the model with the Pentium Silver J5005 processor works at a speed of 1.5GHz and only has a TDP of 10W.
The price of each of these motherboards were not disclosed at the time of this writing.
